Considering wool’s amazing wicking abilities, and my passion for knitting & crocheting, I thought about making my own washable pads. These wool pads can absorb much more moisture than cotton and still feel dry - which is perfect for wearing in between feedings. One pair of pads can last through the whole day (tip: use a disposable while feeding, the same one for both sides). As for the cotton outer layer, it prevents moisture from transferring to clothing as the wool absorbs it.
